13.8% checking in.
Bottle I had the other night was Borboun heavy.
I might be lying about the 13.7 but the bottle is in the kitchen and I currently have a wife and dog sleeping partially on one leg or the other.
Nobody likes a braggart.
Regal on tap was good. Prop was a touch smokey for me. Not that great compared to previous years.
Yes, I was lying. Mine is 13.8% as well. My 2016 BW was 13.7%.
Still curious whether there is a 14+ version around this year.
I saw a photo on a Facebook group with a 14.5% 2016 batch.
I picked up 6 bottles from a local distributor, $10 a bottle. No muss, no fuss.
There is, I seent it.
We got way less than last year. And we never got that much to begin with, but of course my buddy on vacation in Florida sends me pictures of stacks of BCBS at fucking Walmart or whatever.
There definitely seems to be more regular out here. Places that didn't get any last year have cases, places that got a case or two have 4+. Not sure if that's actually true, but based on my poking around it seems to be.
We got 4 cases last year, 10 the year before, and more in years prior... And none this year. No cooperage, no variants, none. The entire distributor was shut out.
Well that's weird.
Does anyone really give a shit about bourbon county or is this all idle chatter?
Nah. It's just Michigan. We get absolute dogshit when it comes to Bourbon County.
I do. I want ALL the coffee. ALL of it.
Their long-standing markets in the Midwest and Great Lakes all seem to get hosed pretty bad.
But what about St Louis? Tell us great FTowne.
I didn't even bother to look this year.
Finally drank a 2016 coffee this weekend. And it was pretty shitty. What a fall from glory of the bcbcs days of past.
Nowhere near prop 2016 shitty, but shitty.
