Anyone have a favorite Amsterdam location? Beer, museum or otherwise? I have these beer related places jotted down:

- Brouwerij 't IJ (English tours Sat & Sun at 3:30pm)
- De Bekeerde Suster *small brewery (open at 11am daily)
- In de Wildeman (open at Noon daily)
- Arendsnest Proeflokaal
- Bierkoning

I love Amsterdam. I gotta go back again soon.

Beer: I'd add Beer Temple, which is a great bar just around the corner from Bierkoning. The focus is on American beers which probably isn't what you're looking for, but they also have some interesting European stuff.

Museum: the Van Gogh museum is definitely worth visiting. And you can take a cheesy photo at the "I amsterdam" sign nearby:

Also, rent a bike. It's just a few Euros a day and makes it so much easier to get around. Don't get a bright red or yellow one though unless you want to stand out as a tourist.
