I think they were $75 a piece. They had these in store and I regret not buying a couple more.
Geez, that's a hell of a price, and I like the look of these more than most of the shelves I've seen.
This got me to go take a look at Costco. Looked pretty solid for $55! Sign said price is good until 31st.
just got new shelving for my storage unit, where i'm certain it stays 55 degrees year round.
my small but well curated collection:
Don't worry, I will take that "bottom shelf" swill off your hands.
No pictures (nothing impressive). I have the ole closet-in-a-finished-basement cellar. Stays at a pretty constant sub 60 temperature.
I got a "beverage center" for my birthday that I use for cellaring. It stays between 48 and 49 degrees which is pretty good. My only problem now is that it's just about completely full so I have to drink as quickly as I buy...
That's a problem?
the those metal racks....what are those white (what seem to look like large under trays)? Where did you get them?
going to be adding some shelves to a storage closet and those look helpful.
what does it look like? Where can someone get it?
I wish I had the space some of you do. Since my space is small but a European 'cave' that holds a great temp these boxes work best for me. Sticky notes on the outside so I know what's inside.
Today was a reorganization day
The metal racks are from Lowe's like 60 dollars, I made the trays, just shitty mdf and glued and tacked a 1 inch by half inch border around it so no bottles can fall off.
My 'cellar' is a work in progress , there's still some space on the shelves left
We're moving into our new place in about a month. Still can't believe the gf let me have a cellar. Temp is constantly 15-16C. I already moved the bigger part of my lambic to the new space:
Need to get some more bottle racks before I can move the remaining bottles
Just got this guy set up! Wife isn't real happy it's in our bedroom but we don't have basements in Florida so you gotta do what you gotta do
I liked my Haier 18 bottle thero-elec so muich I got it some company. Just turned the light on for a sec to snap a pic.
Nice collection of New England-style IPAs, there!
Thanks for the heads up. I quickly removed my like of his post because I thought they were floriduhweisse
