Buddy traveling to Michigan

Friend of mine is headed to Michigan to see family this weekend for about a week. He asked me what brews he should be coming back with.
Just looking for some friendly info on what would be available to him either in distro or at breweries like Kuhnhenn and Shorts.

Where in MI will he be?

Obviously no Kuhndogg bottles will be available except for some random Meads/wines. Shorts has Mmmmkay and Spruce pilsner out now and I'd recommend trying to grab some bottles of those if there are any in stores(I like their hoppy lagers even more than their ales). If he is at Shorts, their pub-only beers are always fantastic.

Oddside has a few tasty bottles like Citra pale and El Dankerino out currently(ISO Dankerino)

Brewery Vivant has cans of differing types of Belgian-style beers(I like Farmhand).

Those are my favs and suggestions. Maybe someone else can chime in if I missed anything tasty.

Hes going to be in Alpena, MI.

He can get growlers at Kuhnhenn. Have him grab some DRIPA for sure.

DRIPA is one of, if not the only, beer I have had from Kuhnie.
