Chicago for the upcoming week

Last minute thing, but my wife (craft beer enthusiast) is leaving tomorrow for the week for CHI. She'll be lodging near the airport and will have a car. Any event happening this week worth chasing for?

So best bottle shop not far away from her hotel (Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago West-O'hare Arpt Area), bar, venues, etc. Downtown is good too, since she'll have a car.

Usually hit up Chicago every other year and this is the year for the hitting up. Anything new and shiny there to check out? Brewpubs are OK, but I'd be happier with places with full bars. Thanks all.
