My new found love for bourbon has rekindled a desire to enjoy a nice cigar every once in a while. Up until recently I haven't bought a cigar in at least 5 years.

Anyone else enjoy cigars? Any recommendations?

1v1willwreku suggested that I try Rocky Patels. Gonna try my first one this evening.

I don't smoke as much as I used to. But I really like Padron Cigars. They are reasonably priced and tasty.

That was another brand that 1v1willwreku suggested.

I used to be heavily into cigars before I got into beer. If you are looking for something good and don't want to spend a ton, something from Sancho Panza is always a good choice.

Fantastic. Bought it under the recommendation from Shaggs. Whiskey collection is growing at a rapid pace.

One of my favorites, glad you enjoyed it!

I also have one more left and I'm not coming home from my work trip until March 30th, so feel free to meet Andrea and get it or if you're close to my place please take it. I don't have a humidor so someone needs to smoke it ASAP

Did not enjoy at all when I smoked it. The box press did nothing- slightly woody with little complexity. I was blown away when it won CA cigar of the year for 2013, before I realized that the magazine is just bought with ad money.

Favorite smokes if you can find them (if you cant, pm me, I can):

Opus x- all vitolas with preference to petit lancero, xXx, and fuente fuente.
    Tatuaje red label
Liga Privada (t-52 over number 9)
    Illusione Rothschild and MK
Oliva V (preference to the number 4 vitola)

Those are the more every day ones.

I really love Cuban cohiba. The Siglo series, mainly the 1 and 2 are my favorites. The cohiba corona especiales is possibly my favorite cigar of all time. The montecristo number 4 is right behind that, and the partagas serie d number 4 is a close third.

Yeah I know, I've been purposely avoiding it because I know as soon as I get one my cigar intake will increase from 2-3/year to like 20/year. Many feels about that.

Dem Oliva cigars...some of my favorites also!

Not much action on this thread. I love cigars, mainly maduro's. I think Padron Maduro's are one of the best I've tasted. I smoke one to two cigars a day, can't help it. A maduro with coffee in the morning is freaking boss!

I like to have at least fifty on hand. When I get down to twenty I almost panic...keep saying I'm going to back off some day. That same day may be when I assume room temperature...

Wish I had time to have a cigar with coffee before work every morning. I'm jelly.

I wake up very early, can't help it...typically up around 4:30, plenty of time for coffee, then a cigar, followed by sitting on a porcelain chair with a plastic seat on it, dropping a "suicidal" Toddstool....
