Sippin on some stoutzurp.
This is a 2016 Prairie noir, quite night and day from yesterdays. Much smoother, a bit thicker, more barrel vanillin. Cheers!

It’s just amazing how long HV sour IPAs hold up. This one is from June.

Sharp funky white grape and overripe papaya.

srs question...are these that good? I've tried a couple of "sour ipas" and dumped each one I tried. I know people go crazy for them. Maybe I'm just a ****** that doesn't have good taste?

Probably a ****** ya, but they are worlds better than any other sour IPAs I've had. There is something about the balance between acid/hoppiness/sweetness that HV executes consistently.
