It needs to ****ing stop raining.... cellar flooded for the 3rd time in a month.

~300 bottle count wine barrel aged barleywine from 4 years ago
I imagine this is what Abacus/Sucaba would taste like if it was aged in wine barrels

Got home a few hours ago and there was a bunch of beer in the fridge from JBoogie. (Thank you BravoDawg for putting them there, cause you know I was gonna need/want one.) Among them, this can times three.
This started off super hot but it's thankfully mellowed out a little since first pour. Pairing well with some local bread and Jasper Hill cheese.

So, this has always been my favorite hoppy HF. I don't know what is happening here but it tastes weird. Not as bright; just off. Man, I hope it's just me.
