Went and visited for the first time this last weekend. Had a wonderful time drinking beers with everyone that came through. The bartenders are really cool about splitting bottles and helping you find people to do it with. Anne (sp?) gave us a tour of the facility which was really cool. Saw the boxes of Pale conditioning. The Archer was probably my favorite on-site bottle we had (out of four). Hoping to return again soon!

Yup, Anna is pretty cool, especially since she just joined the de Garde family a couple months ago. And Aaron rocks the tasting room Thursday through Sunday as well. Say what you will about the beers, but the tasting room staff are excellent!

As per De Gardes Facebook it'll be a ticketed event (not terribly surprising). Anyone have any insight on how they normally handle event tickets?

Some people seemed to think they'd be opening up an outdoor area for this event.

Slow Boat has an outdoor space in the alley. It helps a bit, but they they had it during SBW and it was still pretty crazy. Hopefully they make it a ticketed event and it's moot.

dear California and Washington - stay in your own state for this one

Hopefully it'll be a tickets-at-the-brewery, in-person-only, announced the day they go on-sale type-situation for that exact reason. CA and WA have their own events. Give the OR/local folks the best shot at getting tickets.
