10 week BIF starting Sept.6th (first night of NFL season) and with any interest a week 11 (Thanksgiving week) being some sort of championship. Each week (Tuesday morning to Monday night) you pick five 1-unit bets and one 3-game parlay. You will not be penalized for missing the parlay. Hitting your parlay = +3 units If you like one game you can bet multiple units on it but they have to be full integer bets. No fractional unit betting. For the sake of simplicity we will be splitting odds into 3 categories: Any picks with posted odds -199 to +199 will be considered 1:1 payout Any picks with posted odds -200 or less will payout 1:2 Any picks with posted odds +200 or greater will payout 2:1 Example week: NETS v. Celtics +250 | W +2 PATRIOTS v. Titans -400 | W +.5 Sox/Yankees OVER 9.5 | L -1 BRUINS -1.5 v. Avalanche +250 | L -1 BRUINS v. Avalanche -150 | W +1 Total: +1.5 3 game parlay: correct +3 Adjusted Week Total:+4.5 units You would post your picks in the thread at any time throughout the week as long as the game has not started yet. And at the end of the week, I can look and multi-quote your picks with W's and L's and spreadsheet of everyones running totals. I think 10 people would be ideal for this but I'm still open to running with less. No need to offer up anything crazy either, a good box of locals. Fresh stuff easy for you to get that you like to drink. If we get 10: 1st place gets 5 boxes and doesn't ship. 2nd place gets 3 Last place gets 1 It sounds complicated but I think it will actually be pretty easy to track as long as people get their picks in on time. And we would have to agree on an odds website. I prefer sportsbook.ag personally, it just looks better and is easier to navigate than some of the other ones but I'm open if you guys have one you like better. Any interest? Suggestions?
