They are a little (trying to think of the right word) indifferent to craft beer there. I think they just let the Miller and Bud distributors put whatever they want on the shelves, it's a very eclectic mix, which just seems to sit if it doesn't sell.

Oak Lawn Kenwood used to be my Bourbon County honeyhole. I bought cases of '07-'10 back in 2010-2012. They just kept bringing out more when I bought it all.

Looks like small stores are getting BCS this week (or maybe last week). My closest craft store had regular, wheatwine, the cherry one and the orange one - for a mere $34/bottle provided you also bought another 750mL or 22oz bottle.

    Boss Jacket is really good.

beeraficionado Do you know what size these glasses are? Certainly not a snifter, and am slightly doubtful that it’s 10oz as I was told...

Is this how to get the ghost and/or lambic at my liquor craft beer store that's 5 minutes from my apartment? Kinda srs because it's getting cold and they open before noon on my days off.

Oak Lawn Kenwood is where I spent all my income fresh out of college and super into craft beer. I really enjoyed going there for a while, but then shit happened and I have no reason ever to go back.

That’s my favorite as well. The glasses are 7oz.

Trying this beer right now at Half Acre. It's really great. Super flavorful, easy drinking. We're pretty blessed these days. Between Off Color, Half Acre Wylds, Afterthought, and Is/Was all of our low abv, delicious mixed culture needs are being crushed.

Well I was fine thinking it was 10oz, which is in line with Rev pricing for the snifters. Then that glass showed up...for two of them.

ETA: they are now telling me the glass is 11oz.

sheeeeiiiittt 2019 Ryeway to Heaven is a return to 2017's thicc warming midwestern body and has more alcohol more spice more complexity dials up 2018's barrel sensibilities

i haven't popped Boss Ryeway or '19 VSOD but '17 Ryeway was the best non-SJ deep wood and I think it just got bumped by '19.

I'm moving to Champaign in February, so I figured I'd stop in and say hi.
Looking forward to graduating from a SoCal Hazebro to a Midwest shitlord.
