In one of the pictures you can see a wire rack. Presumably that's for stuff that doesn't fit in the horizontal racks.

Also, capped stuff can go in those racks just fine as long as it's the right shape. I stored Bruery bottles in something like that for years without issue.

That's exactly the idea. Only lambic will be kept for a long time though.

Also, the cellar was going to be only for lambic until the wife said ( you're building a room just for beer, that way we won't have beer anywhere else right? ) oups.. Yes hun hah

It's actually not that hard of a job. Just time consuming, especially if you have a little one who needs your undivided attention.

Yeah, it's super cool, I'd definitely like to do something similar once I get a house if it has a sensible space for it. Of course, there are a zillion things I'd like to do once I get a house...

Yup, priorities one project at a time.

I couldn't wait to have something like that but I knew I needed to get it done myself to save a butload.

Very nice. Personally I enjoy the process and step by step transformation more than just a pic of some bottles. Thanks for sharing oldp0rt.

That is fantastic. Well done. What I would not give to be at least a little handy with home improvement tasks, but alas I suck :(

Awesome work oldp0rt it looks superb. How much time/money did this do you in for if you don't mind me asking?

Anyways, it looks much better than my non-existent cellar!
