Let me know. I'm packing up my box of stuff to bring tonight
I tried the Despertado de Manzanilla last night at the Draught House thing...really barrely, funky, nice. I was worried about the chamomile but didn't taste much herbaceousness. Looking forward to picking up some bottles on Saturday!
If anyone is looking for a hotel... I was able to pick one up tonight on Priceline for a $45.00 bid (3 star, Holiday Inn Market Square... about 3 miles from FT).
Gonna go in after work, find a margarita, and not have to wake up at 5am.
Freetail is out to take all my monies....
I want the sexy tanktop.
And I guess we still don't know what this is going to be....
If I'm not able to at least score that glass during my Texodus next week, I may get permanent sad feels.
They've had that for sale at the downtown location for a few weeks now so I think you should be good.
Finally saw Lutter after who knows how many months lol, cheers man!
La muerta bombers hitting soon.
Edit: tried to paste freetails Instagram post but failed miserably
ill be at the brewery on the 7th.
with cash lol
When does their oak aged Berliner come out? I love that beer.
It already did. They changed it so that Yo Soy Un Berliner is their summer seasonal in cans. What used to be called yo soy is now Bexaliner. They did a batch on peaches that was released a couple months ago at SMABRD. It is excellent. Not sure if they had it without peaches.
They had a prickly pear one on tap at the brewpub back during the summer also. As far as I remember those are the only 2 I've seen. I visit less now that their app that shows the tap list doesn't seem to work anymore though.
Well that's half right.... Bexarliner is wood-aged, Berliner is steel aged (sour kettle, iirc).
Peach Bexarliner is so amazingly good, btw. It's redonk.
BTW: Reminder that La Muerta Day is 11/7.
Dat Coconut BA La Muerta tho.
Wait, isn't that what I said? Yo Soy used to be wood aged, now it's their kettle soured seasonal.
I swear I read Bexarliner is now what Yo Soy used to be.
.... .... .... .... .... .... ..... ..... .....
I think I read what you wrote wrong. Yeah, that's right.
another reminder--bring CASH if you want to get out faster and get the beers on tap at La Muerta day. I belive it was going to be cash only for the tapped beer(until bottle sales are over, so cash is faster again)
ps. anyone been to the s presa location and how much of a bitch is it for parking and driving there? Looks nearly the same miles wise and time wise(maybe 5 minutes more) but looks like its more downtownish by the map.
and his blog post confused me since ive been going to the releases for 6 years now and he says, yet AGAIN it will be at the s presa st location. To my knowledge, this would be the first Muerta release at the new location.
Parking isn't bad. They have a huge field around back. Driving isn't bad either, just a couple more highways to navigate.
This is also first la muerta second brewery has been open too, but I think the yet again refers to smabrd being the first event at new location and la muerta again being held there.
see y'all soon!
Not gonna be at La Muerta Day, unfortunately... too much work stuff and I've still got a lot of unpacking to do. Everyone have fun though! Someone grab me a Vanilla/Coconut if you have any extra allocations, please!
