They ruin drinking beerz. Been miserable the last few days now that seasons are actually coming back to reality. And my frickin Zyrtec-D doesn't seem to be working as well right now.

Surely someone else shares this misery.

Mine have been fucking insufferable this week. While I feel for you, I am glad it isn't only me. I drank a ZD earlier and couldn't taste a fucking thing.

Yeah, I'm an allergy sufferer too. We're getting summer like weather in Seattle now but the allergies haven't been too bed yet. I have to pop a pill as soon as I get up throughout the spring and summer to avoid having a shitty day. One sneeze and no amount of pills will help. Gotta stop it before it starts

Ran out of Zyrtec last week. Started up again this morning. Gonna take a couple of days before it works like it should. Perfect time to drink those old IPA's I have been dodging in my fridge.

I'm taking generic Loratadine (active ingredient of Claritin) in the morning to deal with itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose.

During the night, I get upper nasal irritation that the Claritin can't touch, so I pop Allegra before I sleep. Sometimes I have to wake up and take a second dose in the middle of the night.

The drugs don't interact, so I'm ok there, but taking a double dose on a continuing basis seems like a bad idea. I'd be in abject misery otherwise - even now, I'm drowsy and exhausted after about 2 pm.

I got so desperate that I'm starting the hippie technique of eating locally grown honey... Pls God, make it stop

A pharmacist friend told me that Zaditor is the best OTC eye allergy medicine. I'll probably have to try it. My nose isn't a huge deal, but anything eye-related is pretty insufferable.

Fingers crossed for a short allergy season for all of us.

How is the honey helping out? I am contemplating doing that. Heading to my farmers market this weekend and looking for bee pollen or wildflower honey to help my allergies

My allergies have improved considerably over the past couple of weeks, though that could be a coincidence from pollen count lowering. Typically there's a really intense period for me, then it peters out quickly.

Just to be on the safe side, I'll keep eating honey.
