I'd like to bring over some bottles to trade on my trip next week and bring some cool stuff back that likely wouldn't be available at the breweries for purchase (since I'll definitely be checking them out). I'd also like for the person I'm trading with to be genuinely excited about his/her end as well.

Things I've never had and would be excited to try:
    LPF
    LPK
    St. Lam
    A&G
    Hommage
    OGV

I have a decent amount of de Garde to bring and a few BA Stouts/BW. Should I expect to go over $4$...or am I just dreaming altogether?

I think the common advice (of some on TB) is: don't worry about the hassle of carting bottles over to trade, just go and drink lambic there and take home what you can buy to go

Can't give you ratio/$4$ info, but I met up with Saind and BelgianChris last month when I was there. Both were generous traders and cool guys to hang out with.

I'd say for Cantillon expect to go over $4$ as Cantillon is not very expensive, for 3F you're much closer to $4$... Also A&G is probably still available at the brewery or some shops if you're lucky.

Yep, A&G is normally available at the brewery.
