Im trying to add a ISO, FT and its not letting me post any threads. I am getting very pissed with this site. BA never gave me this much of a hard time and goes very smooth. I really want to get into a whiskey trade and its very frustrating when i cant even place a post. Poor management! Anyone have suggestions, or anyone having a similar problem?
Serious answer though http://www.talkbeer.com/community/threads/changes-for-the-trading-forums.31505/ Trading is secondary on this site
You need to start off LOSING your first few trades to get Rep and then you can get some evem trade shit. So first trades should be like KBBS for Eagle Rare 10yr or Pappy 23 for LOCAL Ipas and than people will want to trade with you.
Are you telling me I need to ask for ridiculous whiskey for beer right away? I guess I dont understand your thoughts here. Explain please
You need to participate before the ability to post iso ft threads. Check out introduce yourself, daily drinking thread, off topic and more.
Maybe talk in the whiskey threads about what you are drinking? What kinds of whiskey do you like? Bourbon? scotch? rye? I drink all three, but I am definitely a scotch lady. The peatier the better.
Does anyone else think people like this are a plant from BA? I can't imagine a real human person being this petty about an online beer site...
Haha. BA doesn't allow whiskey trading which is why I am here. Im getting bored as hell with the beer game and want to end on whiskey. But it seems Facebook and here are where you do it. I dumped Facebook years ago. All I really wanna do is trade my beer whalez fpr a great bottle of bourbon, scotch, and maybe a great rye as well. Does BA really plant people on other sites? Sounds a little ridiculous. I just wanna post a ISO thread and make a trade. Thats it. Im here for a good whiskey education. I have a bottle of Ballantine 21 year old which Ive been sipping on for scotch as well as a nice bottle of Woodfords for bourbon. Im totally an easy going guy and just wanna do whiskey now instead of beer. I live next to Hill Farmstead so have access to all their stuff plus all other VT beer.
Well start chatting in the whiskey threads, make some friends and you will fit right in. Welcome to the site!
