cneville not on tap yet but someone says maybe by trivia...
oh hell yeah. will report back tonight.
update: it's fantastic.
Was cucurbitophobia still on??
Please be for bambic please be for bambic please be for bambic!!
Am I the only one who is irrationally bothered by the lack of alternative JP glassware? I don't know why, the globe just doesn't seem like a glass for drinking Bam or Calabaza Blanca.
I kind of want the Zwanze day glass.
Read on FB somewhere that it is a batch of Lambicus Dexterius unfortunately.
Yea ron ended up posting that like two hours after haha. actually said he was brewing it with jeffery from JK.. then had another post about their collaboration.. they are really starting to knock them out!
Hell now that im thinki g aboit it, monkish collaboration brewed with blackberrys and lime should be getting close!
And i found out the holy mountain colab is called "dust to dust"
Its almost to much to keep up with!
I know I'm a grumpy old bastard, but I like JP much better when they were just making the core lineup. Beers don't taste the same any more. Bam is super acidic right out of the gate. Had a keg last year that was good, but we just got Shelton and JP back after several years and the Bam 375s bottled in September are 'Chaddy' - they taste like bad Crooked Stave to me. Undercarbed, but sort of gushy, so not done with initial refermentation/condtitioning even.
Drinking a July '16 bottled Calabaza Blanca now that is pretty, pretty good though.
Oh i hear you! For awhile it was like all the collaborations and new to me beers tasted the same and were rather meh.. They seem really hit or miss but when they're on boy are they good! I also have higher hopes with monkish (cucurbitophobia is really really really good!) Jester king and holy mountain than say.. the Mikkeler and evil twin collaborations.
I actually have a few jp bottles i still want to send to you. Ill wait til sobrehumano hits and if you miss out ill send some of that too!
Did you guys get bam di castagna?? I really like that one.
Chestnut one? We did, thanks.
