Perusing Binny's list of new releases, I came across the following on page 6:

Are these placeholders for when Maine Beer Co is distributed to Illinois? A glitch? Am I getting excited for no reason?

Vav said soon. Whatever that means. I have had almost all of their normal bottled beers, and they're pretty good but I won't be paying $7 for them.

I still do not get why people always preceive Maine Beer Co as being insanely expensive. $7 for a 500ml bottle would equal a $9.10 bomber or $10.50 750ml, both of which I would say the vast majority of us would have no problem paying.

But they're all pales and ipa's. I'm sick of paying $9/10 a bomber for a damn ipa. If you make under 10$ beer put them in 12 oz bottles in either 4 or 6 packs. Make that **** law!

$9 for an IPA bomber is ridiculous. Like $10-Sculpin-bomber-ridiculous. Lunch is too inconsistent and it can actually run in the $8+ range around Boston. If it tasted like double sunshine maybe I'd have a different opinion.

Do what's right.

because it's also insanely mediocre.

Sculpin pricing is ridiculous because it's only a decent IPA, not exceptional. The one bottle of Lunch I had was excellent, so I'm sorry to hear of consistency issues. Haven't tried anything else by MBC yet, but I expect I'll be disappointed.
