Hello fellow TalkBeer peeps! nodamagedone has graciously handed me the reigns to this BIF in his absence. This BIF has easily been the most fun that I have ever participated in. The basic premise is that a team is formed in your locale and you send beer and board games to another team. Simple right? RULES: - Suggested group size 3-5 (which is player count for most board games). We had a few teams over that and San Diego split into two teams last previously. Oh, and they murdered their targets. - Beer oz. requirement would be such that all the beer could be consumed on a week night. Thinking most game nights go 3 hrs, so 36 oz (three beers) per person or thereabouts. This rule has been ignored my almost all teams in the past so consider it flexible. - board games should be big enough for their team size and NEW. If we get some larger teams(looking at you Portland), I can make some exceptions here. Only one game is required but I don't think anyone has ever sent the minimum. Schedule will be: - signups through May 25th (or sooner if they taper off) - Ship by June 29th - Game nights in July! How to sign up: Assign a team captain. Have them send me a PM with the team members screennames(or names if not on TB) I will assign targets after the window closes and create a google sheet for the team captains to put beer/game wants, addresses for shipping and special instructions. Groups can use boardgamegeek.com to create wants/ gots lists. Let's do this! I would tag a bunch of people but you are all watching this forum.
