Are there beer websites for enthusiasts in your region?

What appeals you to a US-centric site?

What beers do you think US brewers have yet to really solidly produce?

Do you believe the internet was invented by Al Gore?

Do you believe global warming was invented by Al Gore?

Do you have a pin up of Tipper Gore?

    Cheers

Yes. Also the various regional European sub-fora on RateBeer.

What's not to like here? People send me tons of good beer.

    Surprise, surprise: lambic/geuze.

Al Gore invented the Internet, the ballpoint pen, and the phonograph. These are well-known facts.

    No way, that was Clinton.

Eurasian brown bear. In the United States, around two people a year are fatally attacked and killed by bears, but Scandinavia only has three fatal bear attacks in the last century.

This is like the constant beer gossip item in Sweden. A guy I met who claimed to know HG (the head brewer at Närke) said "there's a new batch out next month". Another guy I met who also claimed to know HG said "Oh, he's never gonna brew that again, he knows he can't possibly top the hype".

    It's anyone's guess, really.

You may or may not be able to answer this. I have heard that you Swedes have a taste for old American muscle cars, while the rest of Europe tends to ignore them. Why is that? Do you have a favorite?

It's true but I honestly have no idea why. There are vintage US car clubs all over the country, most often in rural areas. "My" part of Sweden has several. Not my thing though.

Nope. Been to NY, PA, MA, NM, AZ, CO, and OR so far.

I don't understand those immigrants back in the 1800s. All the Swedes went to Minnesota and the Dakotas 'cause it was just as snow-filled and fuckin' cold as back home. If it was me, I'd have gone to SoCal or Florida and never looked back.

    OK, not Florida.
