Can't argue that.
If anyone is looking for old Blue Dot. The brewery is selling Spring 2018 bottles for $4 a bottle, $25 for a case. I'll pass.
Hey man, Alan said it still tastes good... hah.
It's probably a world class barleywine by now.
You mean it’s flat?
Moving on to a new beer. I see they released their Resilience IPA today. Has anyone tried a Resilience? I'm wondering how much they will vary from brewery to brewery.
Golden sabbath was really good! In barrels since 2015, super smooth!
Here’s hoping it’s a good batch. I’ll be out in 4 weeks.
Is it more because its fucking carbed?
I fucking hope so.
Beer IS bubbles, Alan.
He tends to charge more for bottles with bubbles.
CAftW can be hit or miss, though, even with bubbles. Too much cherry, not enough bourbon barrel, etc.
but when it’s on... oh man it’s on
Cherry adam.. carbed yes... light on the cherry. Too light imo. Seems like they are trying to cut costs a bit. I miss the heavy handed cherry from years back.
I feel it’s more likely they still can’t make the same beer twice rather than cutting costs.
I like one of the first responses to the tweet: "April 1st?"
It's April 1st.
Those cans are gonna be oxidized as fuck.
But it's April 1st.
My local grocery store had Polka Dot cans when I was there Sunday, so I grabbed one (think it was $3.79).
Terrible. Minimal carb & syrupy. Drank like a triple IPA, but is 5.5%. I went in with low expectations, and HotD managed to limbo under that bar.
