Are Seattle beer bros civilized or do you people line up at 7:00 am on a Friday morning to drink nerd beer? Trying to figure out if I can just show up at a little before opening that Friday of the anniversary and not be the 500th person in line.

To be fair, he's flying in for the occasion. I wouldn't want to miss anything either :D

It's more that I am used to the piss poor behavior of my fellow Californians who will camp out for 18 hours for 12 cans of IPA.

In those cases, I just show up several hours "late" and skip the cool kids circlejerk.

Remember, Californian beer bros only line up for hazey ipa cans they flip for NE juice. It's harder to post IG pics of your tap beers to show off your beer p33n.

    ;)

You should be fine getting there at opening. Unless they announce some bottles or cans, it will be busy but not horrible. I do remember ten people waiting outside when Wetwired (HM/Cloudburst Mosaic fresh hop DIPA) was first tapped, which was kinda surprising.

It will be a shitshow for sure. If they do a bottle and/or can release, it will be a quadruple shitshow.

Last year's event was already butts to nuts, I have a feeling they will be turning people away again.

I'll probably try to go early Friday or Sunday, if anything.

myself and everyone i know that works a 9-5 has requested off this day. we will be in line at 5am. because of holy mountain's proximity to train tracks, we have a new shiny barrel in which to light a fire, some beans for roastin', and our finest fingerless hobo gloves. gotta get those tap pours bro.

Kinda impressed they're taking Sunday off. Looks like I'll be stopping in as early as I can on Friday and then avoiding Saturday like the plague.

It sounds like fun, but then I remember the madness that last year's Saturday night was when they tapped that keg of Midnight Still. And I've already got plans so I couldn't go anyway. :(
