Since I have to deal with way too many people from Chicago around here.....
I sometimes think experience is overrated in sports, but it's definitely benefiting the Sharks right now.
They weathered the storm early and have slowly taken the game over. Oilers looked a little dazed after that third goal. Need to keep pushing.
It is overrated.
See every Blues team coached by Arbour, Bowman, and Quinville.
So that McDavid hit was a bit late no? If that's someone hitting him I'd bet an arm would go up.
Too soon, man.
There is so much good material here, but I'm gonna take the high road.
Klefbombed = OT
He doesn't get called for penalties. Didn't you know that?
This game should not be going to OT, but that's how the Sharks roll I guess.
Just like I said. Experience is overrated
Opened a Double Daisy Cutter for OT. Should have known better than to drink a Chicago beer tonight.
Pens' offense is absolutely firing on all cylinders right now.
It's going to have to stay that way if they want to beat the Capitals. If you give the Caps the same chances that they gave CBJ, then you're going to have to hope to win more of those 8-7 games like earlier this season.
Yeah, and with the style of hockey that the Pens play, they're not going to win too many 2-1 games.
If the Caps get past the Maple Leafs (which I think they will), I would say it would be a pick 'em series as to who I would bet on to win. I would probably go with the Pens, but this is the best Caps team in the Crosby/Ovechkin era.
We all know what I'm picking. And I'll do it right now.
Caps in 6.
Don't let MooseLang bully you. He's always high AF and he speaks in strange riddles.
Superstitions are dumb
As a Rangers fan that is the feeling I had, especially after Kreider fanned that shot on a open net.
Also this. JGam115 and I had a very similar conversation last night, involving nothing but hitting keys in no particular order, then "send."
I'd normally say, "Well hopefully you'll think the Rangers are the better team after tomorrow night." But they're going back to the Garden. Also they are indeed bipolar as disGRUNTled (I think) mentioned.
I was on such a high (no 420 pun intended) after Zibanejad scored. Then when they said, “And now the series is going back to NY,” my heart sunk a little.
You were so out of it you forgot who actually scored.
