You were right. I showed up at 1045 (date changed from noon to 11) and they were sold out, before opening. A big group of people told me they were from California and showed up at 9...
Didn't help that it was the same weekend as the de Garde anniversary. Still... This does not bode well for the whole "Portland has no lines (except for brunch)" thing.
but seriously, what are you up to today falc0n2600? I'm gonna open a crowler with CharlieMurphy when he gets in today.
I have work at 4. Couldn't get tickets to the dG anniversary so I'm working all weekend as well. I'm headed back at noon to try it on draft, unless THAT sells out too! I can hang out this evening after work if y'all are free. Bridgetown/Saraveza/Tin Bucket?
i'll hit you up in a bit when things get sorted out
Good guy Liberty to the rescue
The line for noon opening is pretty long too.
Yeah!! I'm here. In a green North Face jacket.
you need to come play poker sometime
i will, i've been getting the itch. do you run a regular game or just sporadically get one going?
kind of random, it just depends on how far ahead I know my work schedule. I'll be sure to keep you in the loop. I'm trying to make sure Bryant gets into one of these games as well.
Is it buy in or tournament? I'm down to lose some money.
$10 dealer's choice cash game. I'll add you to the contact list as well.
Anybody have zofran, promethazine or meclizine?
Sooooooo.... My wife couldn't come and the guy who was supposed to take my ticket hasn't texted me. So if you want a ticket you can come out to de garde and find me. Pm me for the details.
I have a friend who apparently doesn't know how to plan things out as he went to De Garde today and realized they were closed once he got there. Is there somewhere around town that bottles can be purchased?
Unfortunately, no. As I said via message (clarifying for others now), we try to accommodate when we can. Sadly, much of the time we cannot.
I'm sorry man.
If they are headed back inland, Arch Bridge Taproom (just outside Portland) usually has a few beers of ours. They're good people, and worth the stop.
Again, my apologies. Please convey them to your friend.
