Relatively new here at TB, kind of a lurker, kind of a smart ass commenter where I can. You'd prolly call me "new money". I had been on the outskirts of craft beer for a couple years, having a Fin Du Monde here and there, a Smuttynose here and there, but got into it for real, two years ago when I dragged my two year old son (Father of the Year!) with me three frigging hours to some country store in Waterbury, VT to buy two four packs of this mythical IPA I kept hearing about, Heady Topper. Two four packs.... I was all done. Hook, line and sinker. It (d)evolved pretty quickly after that, and it seems like I'm taking the course a lot of people take on this journey, IPAs to DIPAs, to stouts/porters/cellarables, now sours, saisons, etc. I've met some pretty cool people in this world, but I'm goofing off at work writing this, so I'll end it here and say any questions, just ask, and I'll help out where I can.
