So what does everyone like to subscribe to?

Comedy Bang Bang: Making my way through the live tour from last fall. Fucking genious. I love Paul F Tompkins (who is on every episode from last fall)
    Pod F Tompkast (obviously)
    Doug Loves Movies
    How Did This Get Made?
Analyze Phish: Actually a comedy podcast, but Phish related. If you like or dislike Phish, highly recommended.
    Harmontown
    Nerdist: Depending on guest
    WTF: See above
The Beer Sessions: Great beer-related podcast. NYC based, but I feel like any beer lover would enjoy it.

Reuben Review. The shows are long enough with nice melt and appropriate grilling.

    Love WTF. I will add:

Joe Rogan Experience: Comedy, science, politics, and a heavy dose of the esoteric. Usually runs 3 hours. Everyone involved is high.
Fringe Average: Great baseball talk from Baseball Prospectus. Heavier lean to prospects as one of the co-hosts heads the prospect/player development team for BP. If you can catch episodes of its predecessor, Up and In, that may have been the greatest podcast ever.
The PRODcast: The guys who run Productive Outs. Mostly baseball, but a lot of music talk as Ian plays bass for Kowloon Walled City and Riley was the drummer for Thrice. They know their shit, but the tone is light and goofy. I defy you to get more laughs from a baseball podcast.
Behind the Dish with Keith Law: More baseball.
Mohr Stories: Comedy with a little music and sports. Expect to hear great stories and great impressions.

Magical radio shows you can pluck from the internet. If there's something you're interested in, chances are there are at least two dozen podcasts discussing it.

PFT Love should also be directed at Dead Author's Podcast and the "Beyond Belief" installments of Thrilling Adventure Hour. PFT did the first ep of James Bonding (well, not the 'first' but the first movie Dr. No).

I used to listen to Sklarbro Country a couple years ago at work. No idea if it is still around or still funny.

I like it – very thoughtful commentary. My only gripe is that the audio quality is sometimes a bit meh, but so is almost anything that isn’t on 5by5 or public radio.

I have heard others talk about them but otherwise I am in the same boat. I don't know how they work or anything. I guess I need to googly that shit.

The Dead Author's Podcast is great. Especially the Plato/Jason Mantzoukas, Ayn Rand/John Hodgman, and JRR Tolkien/Matt Walsh episodes.
