Well, so is Jack in the Box, so that's a pretty low bar to clear.

I totally wanted Jack in the Box after you and I hung out at Bailey's.

Hey guys- noob question here but why are Great Notion crowlers such crazy trade value? I think crowler and I think just go grab it when the brewery is open.

Super limited production or release of crowlers? Doesn't look like the brewery is hard to get to.

    Thanks! Just curious

No rhyme, no reason. It should be an easy $ + label.

Some are limited most are not. They are just very popular and things run out on occasion. I've never traded one but I do $+label for them semi regularly.

Forgot to mention that. I completely understand why stuff like Sometimes a Great Cow or Vanilla Limousine would "trade high" but standard stuff like Blueberry Muffin shouldn't be a problem.

Perhaps the $12-$15 price tag has people overvaluing them?

bc Chicago, the NE, and beer is dumb...

However, almost everyone in the beer scene in PDX are good people and will do $4$ or $+label.

I would like to think the same thing but this same question keeps coming up, so I'm not so sure...

mcgrupp1922 if you're seriously interested, let me know. I'll be down S this weekend and I'm sure GN will be one of my stops. Depending on proxy duties, I will grab you whatever you want for $ + label.

Simple supply and demand. GN has become more popular, enough so that they're enforcing limits on crowlers.

For a while they've done 1pp on Double Stack crowlers and Juice Box (?). Maybe Juice Jr?

The limits aren't consistent. I think they are just based on stock on hand.

They are definitely consistent, but sometimes a guy will ask the new girl on duty and get away with 3 crowlers of double stack. i seent it.

A couple times, they've done 2pp the first day a certain beer is tapped. and then 1pp after that.

DS was tapped Tuesday. 1pp on crowlers.

I have always been told there was a limit, going back at least 6 months.

Defiantly would take someone up on the label+$.. wasn't my original ploy of posting in here but can't pass that up as I've wanted to try their stuff for awhile

NAD1983 sounds like the limits might stunt your trip this weekend so whoever most accessible I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd reciprocate with Jackie O's/ohio goodies (which I still owe you NAD1983 )
