Takes a lot of time to hollow out all the logs that they ferment their beer in.
I'll hollow out your log.
Just fuck off already.
I want that beer so much. Faust is so good.
In almost all cases, I agree with you.
But when it comes to the SN Oktoberfest collabs, I don't care if it comes out in May.
Who writes this nonsense?
The wife works part time as a wedding coordinator for a friend's ranch. She did one wedding a couple weekends where they gave two drink tickets per attendee and then went to a cash bar. The couples parents had bought all the beer and booze and all money from the bar went towards their honeymoon.
Who the fuck does that?! You want your parents to pay for the 20k wedding AND your honeymoon?
That must be a SF pricing adjustment. In Bend and pretty much everywhere else I've seen the bottles they run $30-40 depending on the beer. It's still not cheap and not something I would pay to drink regularly but IMO some of the few beers worth that price.
He runs a time and labor intensive brewery on a very small scale. It would be difficult to make a meaningful return on the brewery selling the same beers for a lot less.
And yet De Garde manages it...
I'm pretty sure Ale Apothecary produces a far smaller volume than de Garde.
De Garde used to manage it...
God. And it was created by a woman who doesn't think she did anything wrong.
Goose Island just did a Facebook Live while making the cold brew for Bourbon County Coffee. Nothing beats that 4.5 month old cold brew on the day the beer is released.
Atrial Rubicite mags, 50 per day for first in line. In Austin. In July.
This may actually be how someone dies at a beer release.
"Hi Grammy, it's your grandson, Tyler. We haven't spoken in a good ten years, but I wanted to take you on a fun afternoon outside. What is the address of your nursing home?"
Any worse than the BBQ lines?
At least the BBQ lines are moving by noon. Not so much for Friday Mags.
Has anyone posted this magnum opus yet?
I'm not sure what's worse: the beer or the author
