My company refuses to let anyone work from home. The only time I work from home are on my "comp" days (which are supposed to be days off from when I travel and work 13 in a row, though my office job never stops and nobody else in the office can do it). I wake up naturally around 6:15-6:30 and on those days am usually responding to emails by 7:30; far earlier than the 9am I usually do from the office. It eliminates my lunch break, as I usually drive home to let my dogs out/just get out of the office, and I am far more productive.

Bottom line is- if there is no drop-off in my production (as stated, I actually get more done) and I'm answering emails from my work computer within five minutes of them being sent, why in the world would an employer discourage that?

    It's insane.

Two power surges this morning at work. Network didn't come back the second time. No phones, internet, or shared drive access. Might find a dark corner and go to sleep.

Because old people assume that "working from home" means you're jacking off and smoking weed all day.

    Would they be wrong?

You can still be productive while doing so

The skin shedding of the skyscraper is a great sight to see. So majestic in its natural habitat.

Motherfucker. Just got a "thanks pal" dropped on me in an email. Triggered. Want to reply, go fuck your mother but had to settle with "no problem, Chief"

I gave one of my friends a "Congrats again big guy" this past Sunday morning after his wedding. Can't stop thinking about what an asshole I am.

Apparently having fucking fun in the bar is not acceptable. "We don't encourage binge drinking here"

Colgate is like 60k a year to go to or something dumb, so they are all uptight rich kids and people.

Pretty sure it was in the video. I’m not a mod though.
