Slapped my Wyeast smackpack too early

Hey, so one thing lead to another on Brewday and I ended up not being able to do it. Trouble is I already smacked my Wyeast smackpack and it's swollen up pretty good. I'm currently cold crashing it in the fridge.

How long is the pack gonna be good for? I won't be able to brew again until Friday so should I just swallow the loss and get two more or hold onto 'em?

I don't know, they say if it remains swollen for more than 4 hours you should see a dr.

Seriously though, you could make a starter in prep for brew day. You could even build it up twice if you need more yeast.
