I usually use a combination of electric tape and sharpie
pro-tip: wax a cork and cage if you want to ruin someone's day.
I've used a sticker and then some carefully placed electrical tape.
my planning sheet now has a flow chart.
Just use duct/electric tape or a sharpie pen. Waxing would waste both you, and your recipient's time.
I actually removed the wax from a few bottles that i plan on sending. I wanted to make sure the caps didnt have brewery logos and to throw off the scent.
that b1 grey monday.... got it.
I was thinking all those Surly's...
Early Bruery beers didn't have that checkerboard cap.
Everyone likes hops right? And saisons/farmhouse stuff? Well, target, you'd better.
I don't, I like beechwood aged.
I've figured out half of my box.
Hint: I will be shipping west. sorry Brez07
Heading to a great beer store this Saturday, hoping to grab a couple of beers for my box.
I keep trying but this goddamn New England weather keeps fucking with me. It's a good thing I have a month to shop at this rate.
I have also never been to my target's state.
The long hint period before shipping means I have to be extra vague...
My target's avatar has a mammal in it.
I have 3 of the 10 Bottles selected. I am trying to figure out 4 others. The remaining 3 will likely be local IPAs that I will get just prior to shipping. My target's avatar also has a mammal in it.
I've got four of the 10 beers figured out. Hoping a certain Chicago brewery releases some choice DIPA just in time to ship.
im not going to have to do any shopping for mine, outside swag and a fill or two.
still deciding how i want to blind off bottles.
