Figured I would start a thread that I hope will be filled with pictures from this weekend, if I can get the stupid !mgur app to work on my phone (it won't actually copy the links).

So today, Rau71 is driving up to San Francisco, picking up the empty barrels and the bottles for the OR guys, then heading up to my place. Tomorrow morning, we hit the road bright and early to drive the barrels to DeGarde. The plan is to hang out there Friday afternoon/evening, then Saturday morning the barrels will be filled with delicious brew. Saturday we head over to Portland to drop the 4R TB bottles and hang out with a few kind hosts there, then drive back to Cali on Sunday.

A huge thanks to Rau71 for locking down a truck to make the trip.

So will the beer have some special labeling refering to TB, and will we be able to get some of these bottles?

My understanding is yes and yes. I believe these bottles will be available only (or maybe just first) to the people that bought the bourbon. Still sorting out the details, but we have time since it'll be resting in barrel for a bit.

I was under the impression the degardebrewing Barrel of Destiny beer would be released to mules in Oregon and sent from their to keep degardebrewing out of legal trouble and stuff. I also heard that my mule would be the only one getting bottles and I will be flipping all the bottles for max profit.

You guys need to stop worrying/speculating on this beer. It isn't even in barrels yet. It will all work itself out.

Besides a penis adjunct, what others can we expect Vanilla Beans, Carnitas, or Durian?

Naturally the only beer that should go in those barrels will be Rogue Voodoo Doughnut. There should be a case or two or 3,000 lying around, let's make this *dying girls wish a reality.

*Disclaimer: There is no dying girl, and if there was, i'd finish her off for requesting Rogue Voodoo Doughnut in those glorious barrels, which were carried down from a religion neutral heaven by generic angels.

*PPS: Paging Dr. brian4beer, holder of wangs, i've got a growth on my balls that looks like Mama Fratelli from the Goonies, I think you need to check this out.

I imagine this beer will be resting for months if not a year. Too early for waiting gifs?
