Good call. Those two were banging out great songs in the early 90's. David Cole's untimely death deprived the world of some great music.

Pretty sure this hasn't come up yet. For shame!

I really stuck to a theme with this post.

Some great pop tunes lead by the excellent vocals of Harriet Wheeler. Was always a bit surprised they weren't more popular.

I still have this cassette single.

I no longer own a cassette deck.

It's been Friday since the start date switched to Monday, but I dunno? mattafett did you change the rules or is this a mistake?

Bass player for X makes his own record and brings Exene, Richard Lloyd and others along for the ride. A nice twangy, rockabilly, country thing going on here.

Was this picked and did I miss it?

Figured it would be your pick.

Compilation - I don’t really consider it a true album. A lot of great singles though that’s for sure. Will absolutely be an honorable mention.

I use this line for more frequently than I should.

    Is that dope enough?

I don't know if there are any words for this one. I just think it's fun.

Big fan of this, but not i to the look that was going on at all.

This tune was actually a hit, under a different name and another album.

This was always the song that should have been a hit

All said this was the better album than the one they actually put out.

Still haven’t listened to any BAD after the first two albums. Other than Rush of course. I’ll need to get around to it soon.

    The KLF - Chill Out

A mixtape recorded live in one go with loads of effects and loops added. My copy is a very dodgy sounding bootleg with the only official vinyl release being a promo in the US on Wax Trax! but that's $$$.

According to Discogs it's a concept album about a night time journey through the gulf states which makes sense now I know that but I had no clue about it until 5 mins ago. Loads of the tracks on it evolved into songs on their first real album The White Room which came out the following year.

Doesn't need much intro I guess.

Probably their best album. Definitely the last good one.
