and I would even argue that despite it's 'treble' inclusion, the FA cup isn't near what it used to be. what with PL teams running out their D squads.. it's basically, 'well if we win, great.. but we have bigger fish to fry'.

I know he was on the way out the door anyways but United fired LVG the year they won the FA cup.

    I really dig those.

Man City is switching to puma this season, so I don’t see myself buying another jersey anytime soon :(

And Sunderland’s decline continues. Couldn’t even get back into the Championship. I know teams tend to settle into the second tier but to go from the Premier League to League One and then stay there…? That’s got to be tough.

Just like every round of the CL prior to the final has been?

Too much of a layoff from the end of the league season.

Imagine holding Liverpool to 1 goal in 83 minutes and still being nowhere close to being in the game.

At least Arsenal had scored in garbage time by now

franch I just want you to know that despite my inability to be able to say anything because of Arsenal's non-effort in Baku and their return to a competition that welcomes second rate teams from fourth rate countries, I am happy with your current disappointment. And I'm sure the feeling is more than mutual

Just a really poor game to watch (as rmalinowski4 said). Amongst the worst I've watched all year.

Nice finish by Origi though. Tottenham had their chances 5 minutes ago. Could have easily gotten an equalizer.

Ajax - Liverpool probably would have been more entertaining.

Is Divock Origi better than being 4th choice at Liverpool?

What a conundrum for him. Is it better to score 20 at Everton/Wolves or 10 at Liverpool in Europe?

Seems like it. He's really improved over the last couple years.
