So I ended up not having too much time to see Providence but I did stop by this place because it was right by the hotel...

Not the biggest place but they had CD cans and some decent Shelton stuff on the shelves. Fantome Saison and some others too if you are into that.

Glad to hear it. ENO is a great sneaky little spot, doesn't get enough love. Glad they had some good shelton stuff too

Anyone going to get some fresh R.I cans this week (proclamation or other)? I'll be Christmas and a few days after in Northwest Rhode Island and trillium Monday. I can get some NJ cans or other things

I can try and swing by tomorrow afternoon. I'll let you know how I make out.

I'll be out of town until Tuesday evening though.

First post of the new year for this thread and I must say: love that Captain's Daughter!

Also, I was pretty impressed with Proclamation's collaboration with Burlington Beer Company for "Bring Forth the Mollusk."

Anybody have any restaurant suggestions in Providence, something anniversary dinner worthy for a couple vegetarians?

Have not been personally, but all the reviews I've heard are solid. Assuming you're "true" vegetarians and don't eat seafood? If not, Hemenway's is a must for seafood. Beer list won't do much for you though.

If you end up in that area, New Rivers is worth checking out for a drink. They under the radar had bottles of Vigneronne last year. Food isn't vegetarian friendly unfortunately.

If I'm around at the time I'd love to meet up and buy you a beer or six. Hit me up as the time gets closer.
