Trailer Park Tavern aims to take over Palm Tavern
anyone know anything about the owners or what they are planning to do? i've gotta say the name does not exactly inspire confidence.
Jordan Bledsoe is the new owner apparently. I've never heard of him. People on Instagram really giving him hell about the new name.
Jordan Bledsoe? Pffft. Should change his name to Lombardi Favre, Giannis Rodgers or Yount Yelich.
A new fruited IPA for April and Strawberry Rhubarb returns in May.
Man, fingers crossed Discount Liquor has 4 packs of Strawberry Rhubarb when I'm in town at the end of May.
fruited IPA?? this description seems like a NEIPA, which makes me sorta happy and sad at the same time. milkshakes by 2020?
I've always liked their IPAs, so looking forward to trying this. Expectations are low for the "fruited" side of this.
GTMW tickets on sale Sunday May 5.
Seems like every year who sells tickets changes. I don't recall Wisconsin Brewing Company being on this list in prior years. Steve's on the west side is out.
New Glarus Break O Day IPA is an above average fruit beer. Juicy apricot is the best way to describe it, but it does have a weird little hop bite to it. Can’t say I remember DFH Aprihop, but it didn’t taste like this I don’t think. Break O Day is terrible as an IPA and should have never been marketed as such.
has it been that long since Aprihop was made?
I feel like we have come full circle on fruity IPAs.
Long time methinks. Probably 8 to 10 years at least.
Toss in some lactose and everything old is new again.
LaCrosse recommendations for beer and food? Spending a couple nights there.
So while this thread is active, anyone ever do the Mile of Music Festival in Appleton? Considering attending.
I think I'm gonna hit up Central Waters on May 29th (they really close at 5pm?) then pull through to Funk Factory. I've played the courses around Madison, anything to recommend around Amherst?
