I'm actually contemplating going out and buying a hand mixer or immersion blender just to make nog.

    Thanks, fuckers.

I cook too, and I would've got an immesion blender a while ago, except I have a VitaMix, so I really don't have a need for one at all. Beyond soup, I don't know what else I would use it for.

I've always been able to get that out of my VitaMix, and I don't mind the mess either.

So the eggs and dairy won't go bad in year-old egg nog? How does that work?

2 gallon batch of nog being made right now at Chez Mongo.

Got old fashioned baked like french toast first so this may be interesting.

Wife's family sucked down 2 gallons of egg nog this evening no problem. Success.
