Don't forgetThe Burbs!
ACA repeal, round nine hundred. This is gonna go GREAT for everyone. Let's just repeal the individual mandate and pretend everything is okay.
lol reddit just discovered that ted nugent, invited guest to the white house, wrote a song called "Jailbait" with lyrics, "I don't care if you're just thirteen," and "Wait a minute officer, Don't put those handcuffs on me, Put them on her and I'll share her with you."
you have to be the oldest person on reddit
This is my instant favorite talking point on the subject so far.
More like Left-Winger... amirite?
At what point of this Trump administration can we make Trump's ridiculousness work in our own lives. For instance, instead of researching data points to support conclusions I make in a report can I now just start saying "some people think cap rates could be in the 6% range." Some people believe this neighborhood will see gentrification. Some people think cost to build is actually declining.
Even better, someone should just start a business called Some People and dole out unsubstantiated opinions for max profits.
"DEMOCRATS REAL VILLAINS OF HISTORY. NO WAY SAME COULD BE TRUE OF REPUBLICANS SINCE Nixon."
It's already working against me as a data analyst. Everyone thinks they're qualified to question the fundamental nature of facts now. No one has ever called me fake news but they feel awfully emboldened to look at data and say "Yes but this could be wrong."
Working as a data scientist in the post-fact world has been interesting for sure. Some people say we're fucked.
Has Kamala Harris or Al Franken questioned Sessions yet today?
You know how hard it is to work in cancer research when Alex Jones is selling the anti-cancer cure on his website? 3 easy payments of $200 and you are cured!
The "Moore was a Demoncrat at the time" spin will bring BarF to opine on the Trail of Tears and Lincoln being a Democrat who started the Civil War before switching parties and freeing the slaves.
Twice this month we've been at hearings with government agencies that submitted "data" with no research. "Why don't you think this sale is comparable?" Well because it never actually sold but fuck me for like just spending the 3 minutes it takes to look that up on the county website or call the broker. "What about this shopping center here?" Well that's a medical office building that isn't a shopping center and it is half the size you say it is.
I mean at some point I guess kudos to them for embracing the whole fake news philosophy.
