Best Director Ever.
Who else is pumped for Django Unchained out on DVD on April 16th?
People still watch DVDs?
you're actually wrong. Paul Thomas motherfucking Anderson.
You're okay in my book.
Just because you both enjoyed the size of Marky Mark's penis....that doesn't make PTA a good movie director.
The Master was the best film from last year. There Will Be Blood is the best of the last 10.
I say this as a huge Tarantino fan.
Jackie Brown is my personal favorite Tarantino movie.
How does this thread even go 8 posts before some one mentions True Romance?
Because he didnt direct it.
I'm sorry, I thought this was the "official QT thread," not "official thread where we can only discuss movies directed by QT thread."
I'll go back to cleaning up my cellar now.
You're right, but the first sentence did say 'Best Director Ever'. Sorry bud, the 'favorite QT movie' question is wrought with danger.
No. no danger. Just answer correctly (True Romance) and everything is cool.
Oh, but back on track-- Django Unchained was pretty awesome.
I saw it in the theater and my experience was made even better by the fact I was sitting near 4 black guys-- their laughter helped me check my nervous-white-guy-ness and thoroughly enjoy the film.
Pulp Fiction is my favorite closely followed by Jackie Brown.
He is definitely one of the best ever. Im a "what have you done for me lately" kinda guy (no Janet Jackson homo) and think PTA has killed it over the last ~5 years.
For me QT is kind of a take it or leave it aspect to the films. I usually enjoy them but it's not like I see a QT film and just have to see it. I'd have to say Inglourious Basterds is probably my favorite of his movies though.
Pulp Fiction is my personal favorite as well....followed closely by Death Proof (obv) and both Kill Bill movies.
You guys are funny.
Inglourious Basterds or GTFO.
