You called it “the stupidest thing i’ve ever watched.”
The Wandering Earth is pretty fun.
I completely missed that David Letterman is back on Friday....
For some reason I can’t stop watching White Gold even though I loathe the main character.
I miss the days when this show was fiction.
To be fair you have to be pretty fucking terrible to get banned from Uber, I think it's great.
When I watched the Bash Brothers musical last night I figured it would be very polarizing.
For me, it was really funny at times, stupid (and not funny) at others, and overall somewhat hard to get through the whole thing because it was very intense (I don't mean that in a "serious subject matter" way, but rather that they are throwing a lot of intense visuals and audio at you).
As an A's fan, I was intrigued. But I feel the exact same way. I couldnt finish it. It was too much. If they had released bits of it at a time on youtube or something, I think it would have been more palatable.
Ooof. Yeah, I'm out.
Anyone else stupid enough to watch The OA S2?
Oh wait, it’s “Chapter Two” or some other pretentious, masturbatory crap.
after that god awful ending to season 1. FUCK NO!
Didn't even make it through the first season. One of the most boring shows I've ever watched.
All I know is I'm saying "hell no" when they roll out the eye bionics after watching a few of those episodes.
That permanent "block" mode that Jon Hamm's character gets in 'White Christmas' is one of the most terrifying things I can think of.
The preface of the show was very intriguing to me, so it drove me to see where it went. And as is pointed out in quote #1 above, it went fucking nowhere.
i fell for the trap as well
Burning. Subtle mind-fuck movie. Great acting from the three leads. Its not a complex story, but still has interesting takes on class, gender and generational differences that you can see any way you want. Best ive seen in a while.
Started watching Code Geass over the weekend and managed to get through the first 13 episodes of the first season (2 seasons, 25 episodes each). Quite interesting for something that I passed up a few times before taking the dive.
