I'll be at the Side Project Cellar. Last year they closed the a street outside and had Cantillon and SP pours. The did a lottery for tickets inside with some more special stuff.

I will be at Fool's Gold.

I've had plans to go the last 3 years, and something keeps coming up at the last minute. But not this year. I will be there, and I will destroy my insides with lambic, and then, later on, my relationship with lambic farts/gooozie poops.

first year in a while that I can go thanks to the date change... I'll probably try to do HF

That's true. Guess I was just thinking Canton and Worchestor were close but I could totally be wrong.

Armsby's an hour away, depending on traffic and where you start from, Trillum's ~40 min. Armsby is basically inaccessible via public transit, Canton only moderately less so.

Zwanze is really just a couple of pours? I thought it was a crazy all-you-can-drink-all-day Cantillon fest.

Ah, well then. Regardless, I still wish Philly had 2 locations. Monk's is so cramped.

I recently moved very close to Spuyten Duyvil and am planning on going, can anyone fill me in on how it's been handled there in the past?

Please go on?
Tom usually sells bottles to go for the first couple dozen of people in line. I'm not aware that he's announced this year's bottle list, but the bottles for sale are usually pretty great.
Just to add to this-a couple of posts:
did a little share

Blauw labeled as Oude Geuze to be able to sell in the states.

Blauw labeled as oude gueuze? Crazy.
According to the homie BucketBoy Joe:
It was Zwanze day at Monk's bar, not at Cantillon, so I don't think any relationship between the breweries was a big issue in the context. Monks rewarded the first-comers who had waited outside with bottles for purchase at the door. Blauw had been packaged in OG bottles so that Tom could sell them to-go legally since the label was not cleared. After the 5-10 Blauws were gone, Malvasia '02 bottles were sold to the next X # of guests.
FWIW, I got one of those Malvasias that year. Here's a pic:

So in theory, this is a "camp out overnight" situaish to snag these, I assume
In the past it hasn't been that bad, but I guess anything is possible with how the scene has gotten. I will forego the line and grab a table around opening, drink the great drafts, and call it a day. Let me know if you go, it would be cool to meet up.

Will do. I was planning to probably go to DC because I have heard Monks is pretty tight on Zwanze - I've never been in there for a beer event before but I could see it getting out of hand pretty fast, but I don't really know that DC would necessarily be better and Philly's closer..
