Anyone know how this ages vs. drinking fresh?

Have one bottle and meant to open it for my daughter's birthday (Agnes) but we forgot...going to wait until next year unless it drops off considerably.

Thoughts?

Schramms is literally 20 minutes from me..pretty pricey but amazing....heart of darkness...super expensive but super impressive...

Black Agnes always is better aged...hand in hand with bb stouts...

Cheers

This is the proper answer.

OP, if you read thru the Mead thread and the Schramm's AMA thread, you'll see some info from several folks regarding this very question. Definitely worth your time.

Have not read through those threads - will take some time to do so on the weekend - thanks!

Disagree on BA stouts. Many, especially adjuncted ones are better fresh. But certain BA stouts are better with some age.
