Fresh hop beer in April??

it was released in late March. This is Fat Head’s description of the beer. “Why “Green”? This IPA is loaded with fresh (never kiln dried) Hop character. Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra provide passion fruit, guava, ripe melon, and a hint of fresh-cut pine. Hops supported with Hawaiian Sweet Roll bread notes. Finishes dry with a moderate bitterness. Only a limited amount was made, so this won’t last long.”

I’m just curious about timing. Generally fresh Hop beers come out around harvest time and wet hop being their own subcategory. And how were these “never kiln dried” hops preserved for that time since being harvested.
