My old azz and camping don't fit in the same sentence, unfortunately. And we have to be there a lot earlier than usual Saturday as we're "working" it for the first time. Wish me luck, I may be dead before 1pm when the gates open!

I got to do that a few years ago, somehow I managed to survive. Just make sure you can function enough to pour beer (if that's what your job will be) and not make a total ass of yourself to customers before they get too drunk to care. Also hit the Real Ale tent before opening if that's your thing, it's pretty much heaven when there's no lines.

I think it's fair to say that Transient was the brewery of the fest for me. Everything they brought was incredible, especially Taweret and Kentuckley. The Pipeworks and Off Color booth was rocking and Morning Delight was on almost the entire fest. I don't know how you do a festival better than that and it was a beautiful day to be out in the park.

Also, I think I'm ready to officially sound the death knell for goose island/bourbon county. That was by far the weakest range of beers I've ever seen them bring to the great taste and happy to say I didn't spend one second in line at their booth.

they seem to have scaled way back for some reason. i dunno about death knell for Goose Island but it was sure weird seeing how little impact they had yesterday.
