Hey all
I'm making a business trip to Hartford CT next week. Staying downtown with no transportation. What are the must see bottle shops and/or craft bars that might be within walking/short cab ride distance?

Also, open to meeting any BTs from the area for a brew and a rooob.

Cheers

I don’t spend a ton of time in Hartford, but here are a few places I like that you could stop into. I’m throwing links to Untappd activity at some of these places, to give you an idea of what’s beers have been there recently.
City Steam is a brewpub right in downtown Hartford. Good food, all their beers on tap. They bottle 4 of their beers, but they will have other (better?) options available at the brewpub. I like it there. (Reubens on the menu)

Trumbull Kitchen is a nicer place also in downtown Hartford, they occasionally have beer dinners/”beer fests” there. It looks like you’d have a shot at something from NEBCO being on tap based on the Untappd feed.

You could also try The Tavern Downtown. I don’t think I’ve ever been there.

The Half Door isn’t really in downtown Hartford, but it’s a great Irish pub. I think they have a lot of interesting bottles. And look at that, the menu has Ruebens too!

The Wood n Tap isn’t really in downtown Hartford either, but it’s a solid local chain. I like the Bison burger. I think some locations are better than other in terms of what beers they have. Reubens too!

Hope this helps! Enjoy your stay in beautiful CT!

Awesome man. Thanks for the info. I won't have a car unfortunately but I'll check some of these places out and see what is feasible for walking or short cab ride. Appreciate it!
