Because you are not the only person that matters, and others may find it useful. It's not "in your face" or such, but for someone that really is here for making beer, may find it helpful.

This just feels like complaining for the sake of complaining. A tiny passive link in the top menu bar that I wouldn't have even noticed were it not for it being pointed out specifically in this thread? When I saw this, I assumed there were pop-up ads or in-thread banner ads or something else that UBlock was taking care of for me.

Agreed, one of the best partially free resources. I use the calculators etc frequently.
