None of North Coast's press releases about it ever made any comment about recipe adjustments or special ingredients, so I've always assumed that it was the same beer, just in a special bottle. It's rather amusing that it has a lower score on BA than regular Old Stock (3.93 vs. 4.12).

They are the same recipe, but the proceeds of the Otsuchi bottles go to help Otsuchi, Japan after the tsunami.
