I strongly, strongly recommend that anyone attending this event try the Haymarket Clare's Thirsty.

After seeing this list, decided it's in our best interest to hand deliver our beer to the event.
I make zero (0, none) promises that I will try this given the breadth and awesomeness of the list, nor can I promise that I will remember details of it if I do.
But I will try.
Just for you.

Gotta update the list:
Deschutes- Super Jubel 2012
Perennial- La Boheme- Flander's Style Oud Bruin
Barley Browns- Bourbon BA Don Vanuchi- BA Imperial Stout
Silver moon- Bourbon BA Dark Side Stout

Still waiting on a couple the other to let us know what it is. Just thought I would keep it updated.

Cheers,

Dan

Picture of the Tekus. Nate, if I make it to the event I will take you up on your offer. Will know in a couple days if myself and a friend will be attending.

Final tap list as it stand for tomorrow. Couple of changes due to shipping problems because of the weather. Unfortunately we weren't able to receive the Eclipse keg in time for the fest. The Two Brothers keg valve burst due to the cold during shipping and the keg was lost. And Cambridge and Elliot Bay has some problems as well. To be expected with a fest with beer from around the county.

So, everyone should be over their hangover a few weeks later. How was this fest? Any highlights? Did anyone take my advice and try the Haymarket Clare's Thirsty? If not, do you regret your entire existence?

I tried the Clare's and it was the best beer there.

Srs after all these years.

In case anyone's interested...

Not sure why it's so late this year, but I'll probably go. It's not as great as it used to be, but there are plenty of solid beers and lines are usually very short to non-existent. And Hellshire 8 was the best version in a long time, so hopefully 9 follows that trend.

Glad you enjoyed 8. Worked on the concept of that beer in many iterations for a long time. 9 is going back to a straight forward BA Imperial Stout. Very happy with its’ progress.

Moved to June for the constant pursuit of the best festival experience. This year decided that we would see how June treated us. Trying to balance between all the beer events in Oregon.

Four different beers this year, all to be bottled. Hellshire 9, Bourbon barrel Imperial Stout. Not yet named Hellshire Experience Beer 1, Double Barrel Apple Brandy Imperial Vanilla Stout (imperial stout aged in bourbon and transferred to an apple
Brandy barrel, finished on vanilla beans). Experience Beer 2 Double barrel Ruby port ( bourbon barrel imperial Stout transferred to a ruby port cask). And 2019 Brunch in Hell (Double bourbon imperial stout aged on maple syrup, vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, coffee and cinnamon).

We are also doing a 4 course seated Brunch in Hell on Sunday with all four beers.

More details to come on all of it. Super stoked on the beer list I’m putting together.

Thanks for starting the thread back up. Stoked to talk more about it all.

Cheers!
Dan
