There's a documentary on Netflix called "a Secret Love" about two women who have been together for 70 years. One of them played womens baseball in the 40's (of 'A League of their Own' fame) and it talks about their life. I watched it with my wife and it was heartwarming and sad at the same time.

I'm enjoying the shorter Netflix documentaries lately.

Tiger King, Don't F*** with Cats, and now Unorthodox (not strictly a documentary).

That sex scene in episode 3 of Unorthodox was so painful to watch.

With a moderate amount of hype, the wife & I sat down to watch Extraction.

Not really worth it unless you're pretty bored. Not bad, & there are some good action scenes in the beginning, but the whole things seems forced & the body count racked up by the protagonist rivals the dumbest Rambo movies.

Once we're done with Homeland, really looking forward to picking up Ozark again.

Feels like people are finally giving Korean stuff a chance after Parasite. Check out The Man from Nowhere, Train to Busan, and if you can stomach rom-coms... literally every k-drama ever. Ask me for the good ones

I just saw that a new season of Last Chance U popped up. I remain so surprised that any school and/or coach agree to be filmed at this point.

I’m sure Umbrella Academy s2 got all the attention but the new Transformers series is all that I needed and more.

Till all are one.

Umbrella Academy Season 2 is coming soon, for those of you who are fans.
I may be the only comic book fan out there who was meh on the series and the first season -- but the second one is entertaining as hell. Watching the last episode now.

Not Netflix, but it doesn’t deserve its own thread imo, so: anyone seen Cobra Kai?
Relies heavily on nostalgia of the original karate kid, but it was a fun walk down memory lane.
Cobra Kai is coming to Netflix soon.

I know the prevailing theory is that Daniel was the villain, but after watching the pilot, I disagree. It's the best kind of schadenfreude: the asshole jock who peaked in high school knows it, years later. If you're empathetic, you have a natural sympathy for him, but you shouldn't. That's what karma and comeuppance looks like.

Change my mind.
